Were Jesus to lecture in any of our universities’ Business Schools or Leadership Conferences; our Scriptural reference indicates he would be responded to as a standup comedian.

Imagine paying an Ivy League tuition, to have Jesus lecture you on the way up, is down. To be great, be a servant! To be the first, be everyone’s slave. It’s a good thing you can get it for the price a study Bible or a free download of a Bible app. Because that’s exactly how Jesus responded to two disciples who’s mother asked if her boys can have the honored seats in Jesus’ Kingdom.

If you wish the high seats of honor, first serve those seated in the low seats! After all, is not that exactly what Jesus did? Did not the universe’s Creator became a part of his creation? And is He not now seated at the right hand of God the Father? It would seem Jesus knows what he spoke of.
